These tanks are commonly used for drinking water, wine, food products, irrigation, fire protection, water treatment, and numerous other purposes. American Tank Company's Dura-Pure polyethylene (poly) water tanks are manufactured by means of the rotational molding process, which produces a one-piece, seamless, watertight tank. Linear poly tanks are molded from 100% FDA approved materials and are therefore safe for storage of food products because linear polyethylene will not impart any taste or residue.
American Tank Company's Dura-Pure poly tanks are UV stabilized and will not breakdown under harsh outdoor weather conditions. Polyethylene meets or exceeds all EPA requirements for safety, purity, strength and longevity. Dark forest green color blends well with the environment and helps prevent algae growth. These water tanks will not rust, chip, peel, or corrode.
To insure the highest quality, all of American Tank Company's Dura-Pure Poly Tanks have been manufactured according to ASTM D1998-93 Standards and meet or exceed most National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) fire regulations.
American Tank Company's Dura-pure tanks can be placed on any flat, firm, level surface for simple installation, and being lightweight, easily rolled into place by hand. Great for remote cabins and hard to reach locations!
A standard 15” threaded manway is factory installed, which contains a 5” vented inspection port for easy access to the tank. A fitting up to 2" is included but is not installed by the factory. Additional fittings can also be added for the installation of accessories and system components.
American Tank Company's Dura-Pure poly water tanks are designed and warranted for water use only, at ambient temperature, for a period of 3-years, and are not intended nor warranted for chemical storage.
