Galaxy Tank - Pioneer Galaxy Water Storage Tanks by Bluescope Steel
Pioneer Galaxy Water Storage Tanks are a proven, cost effective solution for all types of residential, agricultural, commercial and industrial water storage applications. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye, Galaxy Tanks are engineered to meet your project requirements and are available in sizes from 5,000 gallons up to 700,000 gallons in capacity. These water tanks combine strength and visual appeal by merging pre-finished corrugated steel panels while eliminating protruding bolts due to the use of proprietary and completely enclosed bolt caps.
This high tensile strength but lightweight steel shell is used together with a polymer composite AQUALINER PLUS® or INDUSTRATEX™ water storage liner depending on the specific application. These tank liners meet all required standards for NSF/ANSI 61 and are approved for the storage of potable drinking water. This flexible, high quality tank system delivers long tank life, low maintenance and low tank life-cycle costs.
Galaxy water tanks are engineered to meet Building Codes, American National Standards, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards and are provided with all necessary structural engineering to meet your specific water storage requirements.
Depending on your specific application, operating environment and tank location, Galaxy Storage Tanks can be specifically designed and engineered for Seismic / Earthquake Zones, Hurricane Regions and most Heavy Commercial and Harsh Industrial environments.
Tanks can be custom designed and engineered for:
- Seismic Zones and Design Codes up to Seismic Zone 4
- Hurricane Wind Loading up to 130mph (ASCE 7-02)
