Air Receivers

In almost every industrial building in America, you will find an Air Receiver. Air Receiver Tanks transmit energy from a single source throughout the entire system. Air Receivers store and deliver air pressure when the compressor, typically mounted on the receiver, is not running and sometimes used as a moisture trap. They can range in size from 12 gallons to 30,000 gallons.  The Compressed Air Receiver is available in both vertical horizontal designs.

A Compressed Air Receiver Tank designed and constructed in accordance with the current edition of the Unfired Pressure Vessels Section VIII Div. 1 of the ASME Code and subsequently registered with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessels Inspectors. Upon special request, we can get approval and certification from the American Bureau of Shipping, DOT, CE Mark, the Canadian Department of Labour, the US Coast Guard, ASME, or other internationally recognized approval bodies.

Most of our “stock” and custom Air Receiver Tanks are available with mounts on the tank for the compressor.  The mounted stands are built to withstand the pressure and vibration of the compressed air pump.  They are available in both single and duplex options.

American Tank Company works with some of the leading domestic manufacturers of ASME Air Receivers. Our factories stock designs from 12 gallon to 5000 gallons in Vertical and Horizontal models and can ship these Tanks typically within 24 hours. With American Tank Company, you can expect to receive competitive pricing, high-quality products, and first class customer service.
