 American Tank Company's applicator tanks provide solutions for a wide variety of needs including transporting drinking water, wine, waste water, fertilizers and pesticides.
Applicator tanks have molded-in legs to help reduce sloshing and allow for the easy securing of the tank to a truck or trailer. All of these rugged tanks are one piece and are molded from tough linear polyethylene for maximum strength and durability.
All tanks are UV stabilized and will not breakdown in harsh outdoor weather. To insure the highest quality, all applicator tanks have been manufactured according to ASTM D1998-93 standards.
Standard weight tanks will safely handle liquids with a specific gravity up to 1.5, weighing up to 12.5 Lbs. per gallon and are molded from 100% FDA approved materials for safe transport of drinking water, wine, and food products and will not impart any taste or residue.
The natural color of Linear allows for easy monitoring of liquid levels. Whether using the tank in a stationary position or for transport, these tanks require the appropriate saddle and strap assembly for support to maintain the warranty and to ensure that the tank retains its shape and integrity.
American Tank Company supports the manufacturer’s 3-year warranty dependent on the chemical compatibility of the intended contents with the tank, tank fitting, and fitting gasket materials. These tanks are not Department of Transportation (DOT) rated.
Due to the nature of the rotational molding process, dimensions may vary from what is published and shown on the referenced drawings.
During the delivery process, tanks can pass between several docks and trucks on their way from the factory to the customer. Though not a guarantee, tank wrap “helps” to protect the tanks from getting scuffed and dirty. The best way to avoid cosmetic damage is to set up a will call at the factory and personally handle the tanks yourself.
